Poison Ivy DC Dark Legion

Pamela Isley was a brilliant botanist and biochemist, but she was timid and easily influenced by others. Her professor, Jason Woodrue, convinced her to let him use her as a test subject for experimental plant-based toxins. Pamela nearly died, and Woodrue fled, later to resurface as the criminal the Floronic Man. Though Pamela recovered after six months in the hospital, she had changed. One moment she could be sweet, the next harsh as poison.

She relocated to Gotham City and, now calling herself Poison Ivy, began a series of crimes designed to show her power over the men who had once manipulated her. She threatened to release deadly spores unless the city met her demands, but Batman and Robin stopped her, and she was incarcerated in Arkham Asylum.
